Grassy Spark fuses elements of Reggae, Ska, Rock, Latin,
Old-school R&B and more creating a modern and refreshing, foot-stompin’,
spine-jigglin’ sound that will leave you with a smile from ear to ear. Grassy
Spark seeks to inject new life into the once mighty SA Ska scene. They have
just won the Vodacom In The City competition awarding them the opening slot for
Milky Chance, The Cat Empire and The Kooks.
The Rudimentals are a Reggae/Dancehall/Dub and fusion outfit
from Cape Town. Their frontline singers features 4 of the most highly skilled
and electrifying performers in the local industry. Fronted by local Zimbabwean
born hero: T-Boss Maidza, he is flanked by Zimbabwean musical legend King
Labash, recent 2016 winner of Zimbabwean Best dancehall video awards, and next,
from Brooklyn, NYC, is U.S.A born rapper and all round emerging media
personality, is Whosane Pangaea, alongside Jamaican born star, Khaos Cottrell,
who also happens to be an international Hugo Boss and Armani Male Model. The
band's legendary status has been earned from over 15 years of positive
contributions to the local music industry.
Gates to the concert area open at 16h00.
All concerts take place irrespective of rain. Regret no
refunds are issued.
