Stellenbosch Farm Run - Presented by Sportsmans Warehouse


Where: Nooitgedacht Wine Farm - Koelenhof, 7600 Stellenbosch, Western Cape

Nooitgedacht farm history began in the year 1692, when a fine piece of land in the Stellenbosch Winelands was granted to a blacksmith from Magdeburg, Germany. Matthias Greeff had been living on the farm for ten years when the title deed with the name “Nooitgedacht” was handed over to him. With a long history behind the farm this will truly be a special run.

The first time Dirtopia will be hosting a trail run here that connects with the routes we built on neighbouring farms and for the Spur MTB Classic.

Timing by Amarider Trail Tag – available for rent or to buy.

DISTANCES:    6km 11km

ROUTE DESCRIPTIONS: The routes are not as difficult as the Simonsberg events, but goes into the neighbouring farm singletrack and still has the beautiful Stellenbosch wineland scenery.

GENERAL INFO: Pre-entries will receive discount and a drink to all finishers! Medal to all finishers. A refreshment station on both long routes with Powerade, fruit & jellies/nuts will keep runners hydrated. Stay for prize giving where lots of prizes are to be won including wine from the estate, products from Cape Storm, FALKE and vouchers from Sportsmans Warehouse . Coffee will be for sale from early morning and something to eat afterwards.
