Go Riding through the Cape Winelands  Our herd of horses aren’t just horses, they are our family – their comfort and wellbeing a priority on a par with that of our guests. Our horses are gentle souls for riders of all levels and are schooled for both the holiday trails as well as understanding flat work. We also invest heavily in quality tack to give both the rider and the horse a comfortable ride. We mostly use trail saddles on our long rides but also have English style General Purpose saddles for those who feel more comfortable with classical tack. The wearing of hard hats is compulsory so we do suggest that you bring your own although we do keep a supply for those who prefer to travel light. Our horses consist of a wide variety of breeds from Warmbloods to Thouroughbred as well as a mixture of local breeds. We have Friesian, American Saddler, Arab, Shire, Boerperd, Nooitgedacht, Basotho Pony, Thoroughbred, Appaloosa and many more different cross breeds. Al...

Market on the Wharf – dockside marketplace merriment at the V&A Waterfront George Bernard Shaw once said: "There is no sincerer love than the love of food." We tend to agree with George. Let dad sip a craft beer.  Let mom have her cappuccino, and if the little one's ask for a Bubble Tea or ice-cream... well that is there for them too. We invite you go through these pages to get a taste of what is on offer, and then to come on over and experience goodness with numerous delicious artisanal street food stands serving a wonderful array of tastes within an authentic market environment. Old school movie viewing at the Labia Theatre Cost:  All shows: R40 p/p. You might have heard Gran & Gramps reminisce about back in the day trips to the bioscope and now you can relive their nostalgia in what is arguably the coolest, most unique independent art-repertory cinema in South Africa. The curiously named Labia Theatre on Orange Street where you can still sit on the terrace and sip a drink from the licensed bar or take it into the cinema and enjoy whilst watching your movie.  The building on Orange Street was opened by Princess Labia in May 1949 as a theatre for the staging of live performances. Nowadays it’s an old-fashioned movie house attracting love-birds and hipsters for its retro décor and the chance to take in a movie that’s slightly more affordable than the prices you’ll pay at the commercial cinemas. The best! Contact: 021 424 5927   @TheLabiaTheatre

BALDUCCI CELEBRATE 20 YEARS OF CONSISTENT EXCELLENCE With Awards from TripAdvisor and Wine Spectator … and a New Festive Season Menu A good restaurant, someone once said, must make a singular connection between food, family, and friends.
